Throughout the month of February, MCSE is proud to be working in collaboration with other university affiliates such as SUA, BSU and the African American & African Studies Department to celebrate Blackness in the past, present, and future.

Experience an evening with Nicole Cardoza at 5 pm, on Monday, February 28th in the Coffman Union Theater.
Nicole Cardoza is a social entrepreneur, speaker, and educator passionate about equitable wellbeing. Her studio, Reclamation Ventures, creates and incubates innovative businesses committed to racial equity, including Anti-Racism Daily and Wellemental. Her fund makes early-stage and philanthropic investments into leaders making wellbeing more accessible in their communities.

Come and join the Black Student Union and Student Unions & Activities for a reception to celebrate the works of recent alumni and local artist Mark Khan and his exhibition “Forget Me Not.” Enjoy an artist talk and Q&A with Mark, as well as live music and snacks.

The Unity Dinner is a formal event hosted by the Black Student Union to commemorate the events and experiences that defined Black History month on campus, as well as the history that created and defines Black history month in the United States.
